A little bio: Pamela used to look forward to art classes in primary school, she enjoyed painting and drawing even entering art shows in the children’s section.

Moving on to college, Pamela’s art gave way to history, biology and cooking classes. After high school she became a hairdresser, then married, and had two daughters. Art had to make way for the ‘real world ‘, resurfacing when the children grew up.

Pamela then took night classes at Holmesglen College of TAFE. Painting and drawing.

She studied Pastels at Sherbrooke Art Gallery for five years, nurturing a love for landscape painting.

Pamela is a member of Yarra Valley Arts and Mt. Evelyn and Yarra Valley Arts Society.

For many years she has taken participated in YVAOPENSTUDIOS.

With other artists Pamela goes out to locations around the valley and sketches on site.

Back in the studio these sketches are turned into paintings.

Pastels are her first love but she enjoys painting with acrylics and oils.

Lately Pamela has fallen in love with inks , acrylic and alcohol inks.

She uses Yupo paper to compliment these inks.

The colours explode on the paper giving vibrant and interesting designs.

Pamela moved to Healesville twenty years ago. The magnificent scenery inspires her everyday.

Pamela has exhibited in local art shows and had her first solo exhibition at Mont De Lancey.

She has demonstrated at Art Societies.
